Camila Roberts
- Private Sector Development Specialist, Subnational Business Ready
Camila Roberts, a citizen of Colombia and the United States, joined the Subnational team in 2009. Roberts has been project leader of various subnational studies, notably Colombia, Mexico, and Peru, and of a regional regulatory assessment in Central America and the Dominican Republic. In addition to her lead roles, she has made extensive contributions to teams producing topic chapters and knowledge materials and supporting business development activities. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Roberts practiced commercial and financial law in her home country of Colombia. She holds a law degree from Colombia’s Javeriana University and an LLM from the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University Bloomington, where she received a merit scholarship. In 2024, she earned a master of public health degree at George Washington University, where she received a Presidential Scholarship and was a graduate teaching assistant. Roberts is a native Spanish speaker and is conversant in Portuguese.
