B-READY engages frequently with governments and other stakeholders. The aim of this engagement is to promote the understanding, dissemination, and usage of B-READY data and reports in a way that is transparent, open, informative, and efficient. An effective Engagement Strategy is vital for exchanging views, enhancing the understanding of the B-READY methodology, and ensuring an accurate assessment of the business environment. Collaborating productively with B-READY stakeholders is crucial for increasing transparency and maintaining data integrity.
Governments can engage with the B-READY team through several structured interactions:
- By completing web-based topic questionnaires for data validation;
- Through bilateral overview meetings which provide general project discussions, avoiding specific methodologies or data;
- Through topic-specific bilateral meetings focusing on methodological questions and data queries without modifying data;
- Through methodology workshops, which serve as open forums for multiple governments to discuss methodologies and data gathering processes;
- Through a dedicated Q&A section on the B-READY website addresses general and technical questions, updated bi-monthly;
- Through high-level interactions which can occur during the World Bank’s Spring and Annual Meetings.
