Tamar Matiashvili is an Analyst with the Taxation topic of the Business Ready Unit. She joined the team in February 2020. Previously, she covered the Paying Taxes indicator for the Doing Business project. Tamar has more than ten-year-experience in policy analysis, analytical and advisory services in the field of taxation. Tamar's professional journey includes roles as a Senior Tax Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Tax Auditor at the Georgian Revenue Service. Notably, Ms. Matiashvili co-authored the Doing Business 2019 report as a PwC secondee within the World Bank's Doing Business team. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Ilia State University of Georgia. She speaks Georgian and Russian.
