Feature Team Members

Syuzanna Simonyan is an Analyst with the Financial Services Topic of the Business Ready Unit. She joined the Development Economics Global Indicators Group in February 2019. She previously worked on the Protecting Minority Investors and Resolving Insolvency indicators of the Doing Business project. Before joining the Doing Business team, Ms. Simonyan had worked with the Poverty Reduction and Economic Management Network of the World Bank on Public Sector Governance. Prior to that, she worked as a Staff Attorney at the American Bar Association’s Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative in Armenia. Ms. Simonyan holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the American University, Washington College of Law, International Legal Studies Program, and a Law degree from Gladzor University in Armenia. She speaks Armenian and Russian.
