Feature Team Members

Sarah Kouhlani Nolla is an Analyst with the Business Location topic of the Business Ready Unit. She joined the team in January 2019. She currently leads the cross-cutting topic on gender within the Business Ready project. She also leads the B-READY team's engagement with governments and other stakeholders and is part of the team measuring land administration and urban planning aspects related to the business environment. Sarah’s experience focuses on measuring and improving the business climate, with a focus on female entrepreneurs, having worked in the past in the Women Financial Economic Initiative Data Project. Sarah has also worked in the Fragility, Conflict and Violence global theme at the World Bank , as well as in the United Nations Development Program and the European Commission. Sarah holds a Master’s in International Relations and Development Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Master's in Law from Universitat de Oberta de Catalunya. She speaks French, Spanish and Arabic.
