Ritula Anand is an Analyst who leads the contributor database design and management function of the Business Ready (B-READY) unit at the World Bank Group since April 2023. In this role, she oversees the architecture and implementation of advanced systems for the contributor database, integrating new processes and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and strategic plans. Previously, Ritula served as the Chief Marketing Officer of an education technology startup, focusing on student outreach, onboarding, learning, and retention in developing under-served regions. She also worked as a Client Operations Lead for a public relations firm in India and as a communications consultant in Japan. Ritula holds a MicroMasters in Data, Economics and Development Policy offered by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in biotechnology. She is fluent in Hindi, and Punjabi.
