Palesa Kwanele Mkhonta is an Analyst with the Centralized Recruitment team of the Business Ready Unit, which she joined in September 2024. She previously worked as an operations consultant for the AEM-Africa East Region Resident Mission, at the World Bank where she assisted with portfolio monitoring and analysis, preparation of briefs for Spring meetings and RVP’s visit, as well as collaborating with the external relations officer on the Eswatini Communications Strategy. Prior to the World Bank she worked in the international development and education sectors gaining experience in research, finance, and administration. Palesa holds a Master of Public Policy with concentrations in Regional Development and Environmental Policy, and Sustainable Development as well as a BSc in Financial Economics and Business Administration with a minor in International Business. Furthermore, she is fluent in SiSwati and is learning French and Korean.
