Liying Meng is an Analyst with the Utility Services topic of the Business Ready Unit. She joined the team in May 2023. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, she worked on business and investments between China and Latin America as a research assistant at the Woodrow Wilson Center. She also served as Business Assistant for the Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of Ecuador in China. She holds a master’s degree in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Liying speaks Chinese and Spanish.
