Feature Team Members

Jayashree Srinivasan is a Regulatory Specialist and the Topic Lead of the Business Location team of the Business Ready Unit, where she designs and implements indicators on the built environment, land administration, property transfer and environmental permitting. She joined the team in 2008. Jayashree previously led the Dealing with Construction Permits and Getting Electricity indicators within the Doing Business project. She also leads the project on Global dataset for Building Energy Efficiency Code and Standards - which measures coverage, stringency, compliance and enforcement of building energy codes around the world. Prior to joining DECIG, Jayashree worked with the South Asia Region of the World Bank in Urban and Water team. Jayashree holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Delhi University. She speaks Hindi and Tamil.
