Ines Maria Sosa Saez is an Analyst with the Financial Services Topic of the Business Ready Unit. She joined the Development Economics Global Indicators Group in February 2019. She previously worked on the Legal Rights indicator of the Doing Business project. Before joining the Doing Business team, Ms. Sosa had worked with the Organization of American States and a boutique law firm in Alexandria, VA. Prior to that, she worked as an attorney for Venezuelan public law firms, as an university professor and as in-house counsel of a transnational in Venezuela on regulatory and risk management matters. Ms. Sosa holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center, and a Law degree from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Venezuela. She speaks Spanish and is conversant in Portuguese.
