Hana Hosny is an Analyst with the Market Competition topic of the Business Ready Unit, focusing on competition, of the Business Ready Unit she joined in August 2024. Prior to that, she has served five years at the Egyptian Competition Authority, where she started as a legal case handler and later became Head of Investigation Team. In these roles, she gained extensive practical experience and insights into a variety of competition law issues. Hana also had the opportunity to work at the COMESA Competition Commission for four months which provided her with valuable regional perspective. She earned her Master’s degree in European and International Business Law from Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne University, with a thesis focused on competition law. She speaks French and Arabic.
