Gustavo Zanabria is an Analyst with the Market Competition topic of the Business Ready Unit, focusing on Innovation of the Business Ready Unit. He joined the team in March 2020. In his current role, he focuses on the Market Competion Topic (Innovation). Previously, he contributed to the B-READY Taxation Topic and the B-READY International Trade Topic. Before joining the World Bank Group, Gustavo worked at the Inter-American Development Bank where he focused on the areas of regulatory policy and digital government. He was also public servant at the Ministry of Economy of Finance of the Government in Peru where he worked in the areas of trade facilitation and customs. He holds a Master of Arts in Economics and a Master in Public Administration from Syracuse University as well as a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of the Pacific. He speaks Spanish, Portuguese and is conversant in French.
