Carolina Nugnes is an Analyst with the Business Location topic of the Business Ready Unit she joined in July 2024. She previously interned with the Doing Business Unit in the research function, where she focused on the relationship between Foreign Direct Investments and Doing Business Indicators. In 2019, she joined DEC’s Data Group as a Survey Data Curator and Survey Analyst in Washington, DC. Carolina has previously worked in the private sector in business development and in ESG & operations management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the American University of Paris and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University. Carolina is Italian and speaks French and Spanish.
