Aysel Asgarova is an Analyst with the Centralized Recruitment team of the Business Ready Unit, which she joined in September 2024. Before joining DECBE, Aysel held various roles within the World Bank, providing expertise to lending and non-lending programs at the Country Office in Azerbaijan, LAC Regional Office, and Social Sustainability and Inclusion GP. In these roles Aysel planned and executed high-profile regional events and effectively managed stakeholders across sectors by leading workshops and consultations, aligning interests of private, government, and citizen sectors. With her international experience, she aims to contribute valuable insights to DECBE. She holds an MBA in Management from Azerbaijan State Economic University and is fluent in English, Azerbaijani, Russian, and Turkish.
