Alice Tavares is an Analyst with the Taxation topic of the Business Ready Unit which she joined in September 2024. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked for three years at the Inter-American Development Bank with strategy development, development effectiveness, monitoring and analytics, and corporate reporting. She has consulted for other multilateral agencies such as UNICEF and the World Food Programme. Alice holds a Master’s degree in International Development from IE University and the UN System Staff College (UNSSC). Before that, Alice has had a vegan catering business in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and advanced in French.
