Summary
Emergency leave is offered to staff holding regular, open, term, or executive director's advisor appointments.

01 | Inform the manager that you require emergency leave. Any form of notification, including email, phone, or fax, may be used. |
02 | Submit a leave request with the leave type 'Emergency' in the Leave and Attendance Recording System (LARS) after you return to office. An email notification is sent to the manager. Note: For instructions on creating a leave request, refer to the Create a Leave Request page. |

03 | Approve the leave request in LARS or through the email notification. Note: For instructions on approving or rejecting a leave request, refer to the Approve or Reject a Leave/Flexwork Request page. |
04 | Save the timesheet in the Time Recording System (TRS) to ensure that the leave information is sent to SAP. Note: For instructions on saving a timesheet, refer to the Enter Regular Hours in a Weekly Timesheet page. |
