Summary G5 visa holders who are employed by G4 staff members of the World Bank Group or IMF are eligible for membership at the Bank Fund Staff Federal Credit Union (BFSFCU).

01 | Apply for an account at BFSFCU using one of the following methods:

02 | Submit the required documents based on the method of application:
o A U.S. government-issued social security number or a formal document from the U.S. Social Security Administration office indicating that you have applied for a social security number If a formal document from Social Security Administration is provided in lieu of a social security number, you have 30 calendar days to provide the social security number. If you fail to provide the social security number, the account will be closed. o A government-issued photo identification, such as passport, that is in compliance with the U.S. Patriot Act o Completed membership application form (available at the branch) with G4 staff member’s name as sponsor to show membership eligibility o Certification of USD account (available at the branch) o $5.00 to deposit into the new account
o Application form with G4 staff member’s name as sponsor, to be completed and submitted online. o Copy of a government-issued photo identification, such as passport, and $5.00 to deposit into the new account to be mailed to: |
Note: If the G4 staff member has a BFSFCU account, s/he can cash checks, wire funds to other bank accounts, apply for loans, and avail benefits that BFSFCU offers.
