Retreat of the Nordic-Baltic Executive Director's Office (NBO), September 10, 2021
The NBO team had a retreat on September 10, 2021 to discuss the way we work, the hybrid office model, and the gradual transition back to a joint physical office environment.

Representatives from the Nordic-Baltic capitals met with ED Lene Lind and Advisor Sanne Helt in Copenhagen on September 28th. The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted the meeting.
ED Lind provided updates about the World Bank Group and briefed about main themes and preparations for the upcoming Annual Meeting. Also IDA20 negotiations, coordination between the WBG and IMF (SDR), Afghanistan, human rights and traceability of polysilicon supply chains, as well as NBC coordination were discussed.

On October 4, 2021, Mr. Marius Skuodis, Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania met with Mr. Indermit S. Gill, World Bank Vice-President for Equitable Growth, Finance and Institutions. They discussed good governance initiatives and Lithuania’s SOEs reform success in the transport sector. Lithuania’s experience, knowledge and good practices in reforming the SOEs sector can be applied to other Bank client countries.
