Anticorruption Lab

The World Bank’s anticorruption program is supporting innovations that take advantage of the growing availability of data to develop a stronger evidence base for anticorruption reform. This includes initiatives to deepen our understanding of corruption risks, advance the use of technology to reduce corruption in public expenditures and service delivery, and promote accountability through data platforms and analytics. Working with academic and development partners is at the heart of these efforts, to help scale up innovations and impact at the global level and through our country programming.

With support from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management (KDI School), the program on Data Analytics for Anticorruption in Public Administration (DAAPA) sought to enhance the analysis and measurement of corruption risks and inform the World Bank's technical assistance in developing and implementing data driven solutions and evidence-based policies for controlling corruption. The Symposium brought together researchers working to advance anticorruption data analytics to help inform more effective policies and actions by governments for greater accountability in public administration.
