Seed funding of $200 million has been allocated to the LPF from the World Bank’s 2024 net income, with a fundraising goal of $400 million by the end of 2025.
Japan has pledged $20 million directly to the LPF, while Denmark, Germany, and Iceland have chosen to channel their hybrid capital coupon payments to the fund. More support from donor countries is awaited in order to scale up responses to global challenges under the Framework for Financial Incentives.
