Three country programs and two global activities have been financed through the Land 2030 Global Partnership. 

Country Programs

    Egypt

    In Egypt, Land 2030 is supporting and enhancing local and national authorities’ capacity to enhance property registration, tenure security and urban management. A pilot in Sheikh Zayed City has improved asset management and simplified property registration processes, streamlining six forms into one single template and reducing the time taken for property registration by 40%.

  • Senegal Logistics
    Senegal

    In Senegal, Land 2030 has supported the promotion of land rights for women through analytical work and sensitization tools calibrated to increase women’s land tenure security.

  • The World Bank
    Colombia

    In Colombia, Land 2030 is strengthening local governments' capacity to use cadaster data for tax administration. This has led to an average increase of 54% in property tax revenue in the pilot municipalities.

Global Activities

    World Bank Land Conference

    The World Bank Land Conference, supported through Land 2030, aims to inform portfolio and pipeline investments related to land policy and administration; advance multi-stakeholder policy dialogue, partnerships, and evidencebased policy making; and share knowledge on best practices and innovative research. 

  • In Niger, women water their land with a pump acquired through an IDA-supported social protection program.
    Women's Land Rights

    Land 2030's work related to women’s land rights includes a new and improved Toolkit for Integrating Gender in Land Projects Toolkit and other global activities such as supporting the Stand for Her Land Campaign to increase awareness of the issues around women’s land rights but also what we all can do to ensure women reach equality in secure land tenure.

  • The World Bank's Land 2030 Global Partnership assists developing countries in achieving land tenure security for all.
