The Challenge

The project has three objectives (1) to improve economic governance by enhancing the social and economic impact of public investment and ensuring fiscal sustainability (2) to support the implementation of Public Private Partnerships (3) to identify policies that can further strengthen the business environment, support SMEs and increase firm productivity.

The Mission

The grant project focused on enhancing Armenia’s market competitiveness through the comprehensive collection of data, resulting in the creation of two significant datasets: the Product Market Regulation (PMR) and the Business of State (BOS) indicators. These data sets are instrumental in assessing the business landscape and identifying regulatory barriers. Collaboration with stakeholders such as Armenia’s Ministry of Finance and the Competition Protection Commission ensured alignment and effective policy implementation.
