North Macedonia officially joined the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) on March 6, marking a significant step toward financial integration with the European Union. This move promises more efficient cross-border payments and is expected to boost economic growth. The World Bank has supported these efforts through the European Commission-funded Payments Modernization Project in the Western Balkans.
