Teachers play a critical, yet often overlooked, role in education and human capital development. The World Bank and partners hosted a conference on teachers and teacher policies in Vienna on April 29-30, which brought together policymakers from 14 countries across the Europe and Central Asia region to share their experiences and discuss best practices. In this video, participants reflect on their discussions and the value the event brings for reforming education systems across the region.
