Ramani Huria is a community-based mapping project in Dar es Salaam training university students and local community members to create highly accurate maps of the most flood-prone areas in the city. Tanzanians are mapping their own city in order to solve flooding using better urban planning, better drainage and maintenance and better community waste management.
