Project Objectives Description: The project objective is to protect food security and livelihoods of poor and vulnerable households affected by the locust outbreak. The proposed project is under the Emergency Locust Response Program (ELRP) and forms the second phase of the Multiphase Programmatic Approach (MPA) approved by the Board of Executive Directors on May 20, 2020, with an overall financing envelope of US$500 million equivalent.
