The World Bank Group is an organisation that works in every major area of development and provides a wide array of financial products and technical assistance to help countries share and apply innovative knowledge and solutions to the challenges they face.

The World Bank Group support areas such as human development, agriculture and food security, climate change, social sustainability and inclusion, education, trade, and many others. A range of goods, works and services (advisory services, analytical work, capacity building, research, project appraisal and consulting services) are procured by the WBG at the country, regional and global level, on a regular basis by the WBG through Corporate Procurement, to support our corporate activities.

During this event you will learn how the WBG has been tackling inclusive sourcing strategies, and the efforts made to increase participation of underrepresented groups in supply chains.

You will also have an opportunity to learn more details about what categories the WBG procures, vendor eligibility criteria and how to apply to opportunities to be a WBG vendor.
