Regional Innovation Forum

The Regional Innovation Forum aims to facilitate a systematic policy dialogue among European and Central Asian countries focused on the potentials of innovation and advanced technologies to promote regional integration, job creation, and economic growth. The Forum is expected to:

• facilitate public-private dialogue and peer-to-peer learning on innovation and innovation policy and stimulate networking and dialogue among peers;
• guide and promote the innovation reform agenda to further improve innovation ecosystems at both the regional and country levels; and 
• strengthen coordination of donors, regional organizations, and MDBs around key issues relating to innovation and innovation-related investments in the ECA region. The RIF is a two-day event followed by an optional site visits day. 

This regional event is cosponsored by the World Bank and the Government of the Republic of Slovakia in close collaboration with the Government of Austria and European Investment Bank.
