The World Bank Group and USAID will host the Second Annual UHC Financing Forum from April 20-21, 2017, in advance of the World Bank Group – International Monetary Fund Spring Meetings. The forum will be held at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC.
The focus of the 2017 Forum is efficiency, or value for money. Building on last year’s topics of domestic resource mobilization, the Second Annual UHC Financing Forum will focus on strategic policies and practical interventions to help governments use health system resources more efficiently. The agenda will include a mix of plenary and parallel sessions with expected attendance of 300 experts on public and health finance and service delivery, including representatives from Ministries of Finance and Health from low and middle-income countries, and staff from bi- and multi-lateral institutions, civil society organizations, think tanks, and academia.
Registration is now closed.
For those unable to attend, live webcasts of the plenary sessions will be available, along with additional materials on the proceedings.
