This session will facilitate dialogues among policy makers and businesses on opportunities and challenges on green financing brought by China’s recent years of strong political commitment in pursuing a greener, lower carbon development path and the very recent announcement of the INDC. NDRC, the leading agency responsible for the top-level design of the national ETS and the market players are to exchange views on the implications of opportunities and responsibilities to business. In the session, China’s green financing pioneers and the multinational development institutions also meet to share experiences and lessons learned. John Roome, Senior Director of Climate Change CCSA will make a keynote speech at the session.
