Vitaliy, a Ukrainian national, joined the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in June 2011, focusing on corporate governance in the Sustainable Business Advisory Department. Currently, he works on partnerships, strategic fundraising and reporting to key sovereign and non-sovereign development partners of IFC.
Prior to joining the IFC, Vitaliy gained experience in commercial banking and real estate development. In 2016, he completed an Executive MBA at IE Business School. Vitaliy also completed a one-year business program at the University of Texas as a recipient of the merit-based Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship, a program of the US Department of State for emerging leaders from Eurasia.
Vitaliy is extensively involved in voluntary work. Particularly, he is the founder and coordinator of the international humanitarian project "Support Hospitals in Ukraine", which already delivered $3.5 million worth of medical cargo from the USA to hospitals in Ukraine in the form of humanitarian aid. He is also the founder and chair of the World Bank Group-IMF Ukrainian Staff Association. Vitaliy has been a recipient of various awards such as an annual award of the Global Ukraine Foundation (2019), Charitable Ukraine (2018), and IE EPIC Award (2017) in recognition for his leadership in numerous humanitarian and voluntary initiatives.
