Rosa Brito Delgado is the World Bank Group’s Resident Representative for Guinea-Bissau since July 1st, 2024. She joined the World Bank in March 2020, as the Country Economist for Cabo Verde and Guinea-Bissau, based in Praia, and later on Acting Resident Representative for Cabo Verde. A Cabo Verdean national, Rosa has over 20 years of experience working in public institutions in Cabo Verde, including as an economist at the Central Bank and as a Board Member of the Agency of Economic Regulation. She also worked at the Presidency of Council of Ministers as an adviser for State Reform. Rosa has taught Economics at the School of Economics and Management in Cabo Verde. She holds an MA in Policy Economics from Williams College in USA and an MSc in Management and Industrial Strategy from Technical University of Lisbon – School of Economics and Management in Portugal.
