Reshika Singh is the Senior Country Economist for Papua New Guinea, effective January 15, 2025, and is based in Port Moresby. She joined the World Bank in 2021 and has since held different roles within the Macro Trade and Investment team, including: Country Economist for Samoa and Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and Senior Economist for Samoa from November 2023. Prior to joining the Bank, Reshika was an Economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for nearly six years, based at the IMF Resident Representative Office for the Pacific. In this role, she served as the Desk Economist for FSM, Nauru, Samoa, and Solomon Islands. Reshika holds a Master of Commerce in Economics from the University of the South Pacific.
