Marc Sadler is the Program Leader for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure for Europe at the World Bank. Based in Brussels, Marc oversees the investment and advisory work across Sustainable Development and Infrastructure sectors of the World Bank in EU countries, with particular focus on Poland, Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia. His previous roles with the WB were Manager for Climate and Carbon finance in the Climate Change Group and Adviser on Risk and Markets and Global Lead for Climate Smart Agriculture in the Agriculture Global Practice. Before the WB, Marc was a consultant for the World Bank and FAO in Central Asia, Caucasus and Turkey on issues related to agribusiness and sectoral policy. Prior to this, he was a commodities trader based out of the Former Soviet Union. He has an M.A. in Jurisprudence from Trinity College, Oxford University.
