Lucas Zavala

Economist, Development Impact (DIME), Development Economics

Lucas Zavala studies competition in global value chains: how we measure it, how it is shaped by policy, and how it shapes the lives of firms and individuals in emerging economies. He is an Economist in the World Bank’s Department of Development Impact. Before joining DIME, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the International Economics Section at Princeton University from 2021-2022. He received his PhD in Economics from Yale University in 2021.
