Kate Mckinnon is an Economist with the World Bank’s Prospects Group, where she conducts research on various macroeconomic issues. Before joining the World Bank, she worked with Vanguard’s global Investment Strategy Group and in the United Nations Capital Development Fund’s Inclusive Finance program in Timor-Leste. Kate holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Australian National University, where she is a Research Associate at the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA). She has produced research on monetary policy, commodities, and international asset markets.
