Mr. Harold Bedoya has a career of more than 30 years at the World Bank. He has held various roles, including Operations Advisor for Mexico and Colombia, Advisor to the Office of the Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Operations, and Operations Manager for China, Mongolia and Korea. His last position was Advisor at EAPOS.
In his new position, Mr. Bedoya will have as his main responsibilities
(i) Overseeing the management and quality of the portfolio, collaborating with clients and the country team to solve implementation issues and ensure high quality and results on the ground;
(ii) Manage the staff of the Country Office, and
(iii) Participate in the country dialogue under the supervision of the Country Director, maintaining good relations with all key actors, and coordinating with donors, civil society and the private sector to support country-led development processes.
