Mr. Bedoya joined the World Bank in 1992. Since then, he has held various positions in Latin America and Asia. Prior to assuming the role of Resident Representative for the World Bank in Paraguay, he served as Operations Manager for China, Mongolia, and Korea and as an Advisor in the Operations Services Unit for the East Asia and Pacific Region. Prior to joining the Bank, he was an Economist at the Foreign Agricultural Service of the United States Department of Agriculture. Mr. Bedoya holds a Master's degree in International Trade and Policy from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the same University.
