Fabio is a Senior Investment Officer within the World Bank Treasury, where he currently works with official institutions as an Engagement Manager. In this role, he is responsible for fostering client relationships and coordinating and delivering their technical advisory engagements under the Reserve Advisory and Management Partnership (RAMP).
Prior to joining the World Bank in 2023, he worked at the Central Bank of Estonia for 14 years as the Head of the Investment Division and later as the Head of the Financial Markets Department, including foreign reserves investments, risk management, and monetary policy operations. Before working at the Central Bank, Fabio worked in the private sector in Italy and Estonia, covering different investment and pension funds management roles.
Fabio holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Economics from Bocconi University and a Ph.D. in Financial economics from Tallinn University of Technology.
