Evis Rucaj is a Program Manager for Debt and Financial Statistics at the World Bank's Development Data Group. With over 25 years of experience in policy-relevant external sector statistics, she leads the Debt Statistics Program and oversees the World Bank Debtor Reporting System (DRS), ensuring the accurate compilation of external debt statistics for low- and middle-income countries. Additionally, she is responsible for the annual publication of the International Debt Statistics (IDS) database and International Debt Report, a vital source for a sustainable development finance. Her extensive knowledge and leadership have significantly contributed to enhancing the quality and accessibility of debt data. Before joining the World Bank, Evis served as the Deputy Director of the Statistics Department at the Bank of Albania. In this role, she was instrumental in advancing the country's statistical methodologies and data accuracy.
