Dohan Kim is an Economist in the World Bank’s Prospects Group, where he contributes to analyses of global economic issues and policy recommendations. His research focuses on macroeconomics, banking, monetary policy, and international finance. Before joining the World Bank, he served as an economist at the Central Bank of Korea, holding positions in the Office of Economic Modelling and Policy Analysis, the Financial Markets Department, and the Macroprudential Analysis Department. During his Ph.D. studies, he also interned at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. He holds a B.A. in Systems Management Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, an M.P.P. from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
