Denis Jordy is the Program Leader for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure in Haiti.
Denis, a French national, is a Lead Disaster Risk Management Specialist with more than 20 years of experience in environment, agriculture, disaster risk management & climate change adaptation. He has a multi-region experience in Africa, Asia, Middle East and North Africa, Latin America, France, and USA and worked across multiple sectors such as transport, energy, and water.
Denis is helping to implement the Bank’s program covering the Sustainable Group of Practices (Agriculture, Climate Change, Environment and Natural Resources, Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience, and Water Global Practices), and the Infrastructure Group of Practices (Energy & Extractives, Transport, Digital Development, and Infrastructure Finance and Public-Private Partnerships).
During his time at the Bank, Denis has worked on urban flood risk reduction, coastal zone management, resilient infrastructure, climate resilience, disaster response and reconstruction, and environmental management. Prior to the Bank, he worked for the French Government on environment, pollution control, agriculture, and rural development programs and policies in France and West Africa.
