Alief Rezza is the Senior Country Economist for Timor-Leste based in Dili. Alief, an Indonesian national, joined the Indonesia Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment team in 2016. He co-lead the Natural Resource for Development Program (NR4D), including the fiscal and natural resources pillar. He also contributed to the regular macro monitoring and modelling of the MTI team. Prior to joining the Bank, Alief worked for Statoil Norway, the ADB in the Philippines; and the Indonesian House of Representatives. Alief holds a PhD in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Masters and Bachelor degrees from Norway and Indonesia. His work was published in peer reviewed journals.
