The World Bank in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan’s economy slowed to 3.2% in the first half of 2024, down from 5.3% a year ago, with notable weaknesses in investment and government spending. Economic growth is projected to temporarily rise to 4.7% in 2025, driven by increased oil production, before gradually slowing to a long-term potential rate of 3.0–3.5%.
