Economics and Business Journalism
|
Website Description |
This web site summarizes the Economics and Business Journalism (EBJ) Program, which is designed for print and broadcast journalists who cover economics, development programs and business. The EBJ Program of the World Bank Institute (WBI), combines work on key economic concepts with practical, journalistic exercises. The focus of the program was on assisting African journalists in covering economic and business news. The Covering Budgets and Government Spending Program was designed for print and broadcast journalists whose responsibilities included the coverage of economics, development programs and government activities. The aim of the program was to give journalists a clear understanding of how budgets are formulated and executed, and how the press might cover the entire process more effectively.
