Government Bond Market Development Program - Peer Group Dialogues

The Government Bond Market Development Program facilitates a peer group dialogue series, providing policy-makers with a virtual forum for sharing experiences and expertise on debt market related issues. The discussions are conducted via a web-based meeting tool and audio conference.

Peer Groups

The dialogue series kicked off with a small group meeting on March 31, 2009. This first peer group convened representatives from large emerging bond markets to discuss policy challenges facing them, including the global financial crisis at that time. Our goal with this series is to involve all participating countries in exchanging views and experiences on issues of mutual interest.

Note: The Government Bond Market Development Program incorporates the countries and activities of the Global Emerging Markets Local Currency Bond (Gemloc) Program Advisory Services.

Peer Group 1 countries are: Brazil, China, Colombia, Hungary, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, South Africa, and Turkey.  All other countries are Peer Group 2 countries.
