Lakner-Milanovic (2013) World Panel Income Distribution (LM-WPID)

This database contains a balanced and unbalanced panel of country-decile groups covering the twenty year period 1988-2008, expressed in a common currency and prices (2005 Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) dollars derived from the 2005 International Comparison Project). The database allows comparisons of average incomes by decile both across time and across countries.

The database (1988-2008) used in these papers can be downloaded at the link below. The data are in Stata12 and for five benchmark years: 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003 and 2008.
