The European Commission, C-JET, and Finance for Development (F4D) have united to strengthen the Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI) in African, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) countries. Through this partnership, strategic technical assistance is being provided to enhance the role of the private sector. Recognizing the pivotal role of job creation in boosting economic opportunities, the European Commission and the World Bank are leveraging the C-JET Umbrella Trust Fund to foster private sector growth. This initiative aims to design and implement key policy measures by offering analytics and technical assistance, with a particular focus on supporting the creative and cultural sectors.
As part of this effort, seven country-specific grants have been launched in Suriname, Mozambique, Benin, Kenya, Fiji, Senegal, and Sierra Leone, in addition to a global grant focused on activities such as improving data collection and enhancing the monetization of intellectual property rights.
