Next Generation Africa Climate Business Plan

Reports

Since its launch in 2015, the original Africa Climate Business Plan supported 346 projects with more than $33 billion in World Bank financing over the past six years. It has become a critical support mechanism to help client countries institutionalize climate action and meet their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), submitted under the Paris Agreement. Over the next six years (2021–26), the World Bank will continue to work with African countries to continue to tackle climate change.
