This video shares the impact of the South Sudan Safety Net Project (SSSNP) which provided temporary income opportunities to selected poor and vulnerable households in South Sudan with the aim of improving their resilience and self-sufficiency. The project has uplifted the livelihoods of vulnerable South Sudanese and has also strengthened the effectiveness of the national social protection system. Supported by the World Bank in close coordination with the Government of the Republic of South Sudan, SSSNP was launched in 2020, with implementation support from the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). This video features voices and experiences of SSSNP beneficiary households in selected towns in South Sudan.
